TMC-71IPA ENGINEERED FLUID

TMC-71IPA Engineered Fluid is a drop in miscible replacement for 3M Novec 71IPA. 

TMC-71IPA is a clear, colorless is a low-VOC, azeotropic blend designed with no HFC’s for light cleaning applications as a direct substitute for solvents like 3M Novec®, CFC-113, HCFC-14lb and others.

It is ideal for light duty cleaning and degreasing tasks cleaning and rinsing for removal of particulate, fingerprints, and light soils from metal, plastic and glass parts.

TMC-71IPA is compatible with many polymers and elastomers typically encountered during cleaning and vapor degreasing of precision parts, electronics, etc. 

TMC-71IPA is also compatible with stainless steel, aluminum, iron, and every other metal commonly used in precision parts manufacturing.

SHELF LIFE & STORAGE

Shelf life is 60 months from the date of manufacture when stored in the original packaging materials and stored under normal conditions.  TMC will re-certify material every 5 years up to 20 years.  

TMC-71IPA is thermally stable and will not oxidize or degrade during storage under normal conditions.  It is recommended to store inside a clean, dry area and out of direct sunlight or other heat sources.  Store between 32°-90°F (0°-32°C), do not freeze. 

 

DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
